On Wednesday, I had the pleasure of watching Michael Jackson’s “This Is It”. While I won’t bore you with a long essay on the film, I will offer you some of my thoughts regarding MJ’s movie. Here goes:

- Few people (before or after) Michael Jackson have his passion and ability for their music.

- It was a breath of fresh air to see MJ humanized, rather than the horrible scummy TV coverage of him after his death.

- MJ is actually quite a nice and patient artist, which is surprising considering what the industry tends to do to people.

- Although I knew he was talented, seeing him pull off some of the dance moves and vocal riffs that he does…wow.

- If there was ever any doubt whether 50-year-old MJ was anywhere near as good as younger MJ, that doubt was shattered.
